From Parkinson's Diagnostics to Human-Machine Interaction: SemsoTec GmbH supports students of the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (OTH Regensburg) in the further development of the Biometric Smart Pen (BiSP).
The Association of Friends of OTH Regensburg e.V. thanks for a donation of 2,000 euros. SemsoTec GmbH thus supports students in the further development of the Biometric Smart Pen (BiSP).
A partnership has been established between SemsoTec GmbH and the Smart Embedded Systems laboratory at the OTH Regensburg Faculty for Electrical and Information Engineering under the direction of Prof. Dr. Roland Mandl for a number of years in the development of the Biometric Smart Pen (BiSP).
The Biometric Smart Pen is a novel multisensory pen that allows you to capture and analyze handwriting, drawing and hand movements on paper as well as from the air. A software integrated into the pen provides both object-related parameters as well as biometric and neuromotomic key figures of the user. In short, he lets hands speak. The Parkinsondiagnostik is only one of the numerous fields of application of this innovative system in man-machine interaction, biometrics, medicine, robotics and others.
